Mutants stalk the catacombs beneath the desolate surface, and hunt amidst the poisoned skies above. Beneath the ruins of post-apocalyptic Moscow, in the tunnels of the Metro, the remnants of mankind are besieged by deadly threats from outside – and within. That might not be relevant but I felt like writing it anyway.It Is the Year 2034. Fallout, and especially NV is a completely different setting, so while you can make some superficial similarities, no mods will recreate the feel of a world, in which humanity can only live in dark underground tunnels, constantly scared for their life. The kids born underground, were pale creatures, who'd get blinded by a lightbuld. Of course going out during the day is a suicide (at least in the book). If you're lucky, you'll manage to scavenge something, so that your people can survive for another few days. To go outside, you need to be armed to the teeth, wear protective gear and have eyes all around your head. People in Metro are cowering in a corner between monsters in the dark and the ones that are not afraid to step out in the light. I don't really know how you want the game to look like Metro exactly, but if it is ruins, metro tunnels and stuff like that, then NV might not be the right game.īesides, Metro takes every opportunity to remind you that humans are no longer top of the food chain.
